What time is check-in?

Check-in is at 4 pm.  

What time is checkout?

Checkout is at 11 am. 

Can we request early check-in/late checkout? 

Early check-in is based on availability and cannot be guaranteed at any time, but if rooms are available early, we would be happy to get you checked in upon your arrival. Late checkout is based on availability at a rate of $50 per hour after 11 am. 

What forms of payment do you accept? 

We accept cash, American Express, Discover, Visa, Mastercard, and Diners Club.

What is your cancellation and date modification policy? 

We hope you do not cancel your plans with us, but you should do so 72 hours before your arrival day if you must. Any date modifications to your stay also need to happen 72 hours prior to your arrival date to avoid first night room and tax penalty charge. We do not allow changes within a 72-hour timeframe. 

Is smoking permitted at the Resort? 

Smoking is not permitted in any of our guest rooms. A violation of smoking in the guest rooms will result in a $250 cleaning fee. Smoking is allowed in designated outdoor areas. 

Are dogs allowed at the Resort?

Yes, The Woodlands Resort is a dog-friendly hotel. Please read our Pet Policy for more information.  

What is the minimum age requirement to book or check in to a room? 

You must be 21 years or older to book a room.  

Do you offer baby cribs? 

Pack ‘n Plays are available at no cost, based on availability. 

Do you offer extra bed cots? 

Rollaway beds are available for $35 daily, based on availability for king rooms and suites only. 

Is there a safe in the room?  

Yes, accommodations come with a safe.  

What does the Resort Fee include? 

A resort fee of $35 per night plus tax will be added to your daily room rate. The resort fee includes: 

What is the policy for guests using the Forest Oasis pool complex? 

Guests are welcome to use the pool from noon on the day of arrival until 11 am on the day of departure. Guests should either purchase an additional night stay to enjoy a full day at the waterpark or purchase a Resort Day Pass (if available) at the front desk.

What is the policy for guests bringing outside food and beverage to the pool complex? 

The resort does not allow coolers or the consumption of outside food and beverage in the pool complex. The resort offers food and beverage through Cool Water Café for guests to enjoy. 

How far are you from downtown Houston? 

The resort is just 27 miles northwest of downtown Houston, a convenient 30-minute drive. 

What are the closest major airports to the resort? 

The closest major airport is George Bush Intercontinental Airport, 18 miles from the resort, approximately a 25-minute drive.

Do you offer transportation to/from the airport? 

We can arrange transportation to and from George Bush Intercontinental Airport. Please contact the front desk for arrangements and pricing. 

Do you have transportation to and from the local area? 

A complimentary shuttle is available to and from The Woodlands Mall and Market Street. In addition, we offer a shuttle service to and from The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion for a fee per person, roundtrip for designated concerts and events. 

Do you have parking on-site? How much is it? 

We have extensive outdoor parking on-site, and all self-parking is complimentary. We also offer valet service, $18 per day and $28 for overnight. 

What is there to do near the Resort? 

Our hotel is right in the heart of The Woodlands, only 30 minutes from downtown Houston. Explore iconic landmarks like George Mitchell Nature Preserve, go
shopping at Market Street or along The Waterway, or take the trolley around The Woodlands to Hughes Landing.
For those looking to experience the city’s storied arts and culture scene, The Glade Cultural Center and The Woodlands Children’s Museum are a leisurely walk or Uber ride away. If you are traveling with kids, head to the Tree Adventures in Houston when it is warm out, or glide around the ice rink at The Woodlands Town Center when the city becomes a winter wonderland in the colder months.
